When The New Grey burst onto the Milwaukee music scene last year with their debut EP, the band’s blend of summery indie rock and R&B was a breath of fresh air in the most literal sense. The band continues to impress today with the release of their follow up, “Blender”. The five song project, much like their debut, does a great job of encapsulating the band’s live sound, which screams California even though it originates in Milwaukee. With bending bass lines, and a healthy amount of genuine energy in their songs, it’s hard not to find some aspect of this band to like. The New Grey is continuing to push forward with impressive work as a young band, and you can hear their incredible potential on “Blender” below:
