The Bbys are quickly developing a reputation for being a no-frills, straight rock n’ roll party type of band, and their new EP, “The Sauce” embodies that. From straightforward songs about hooking up in a car wash, to ironic jabs about having a gun on a song called “Guns”, no topic is really off limits for the band to write humorous, yet deadpan lyrics about. It’s all accented by clean guitar lines and a steady back beat, and enough enthusiasm to keep you bobbing your head with every fuzzy lo-fi track. The Bbys are showing no signs of slowing down, and it’s to be expected that they’ll play out a lot more, both locally and on tour, following today’s release. Get lost in “The Sauce” below:
