AUDIO: The Cut-Outs – “Noise In Melody”

With over a year without releasing any new music, veteran Milwaukee act The Cut-Outs recently released their debut EP, “Noise In Melody”. The new project is four tracks of catchy, blissful indie that doesn’t fall into a single conventional subgenre. With bouncy bass lines and echo-laden guitar parts, there’s glimpses of psych and post-punk that make their way into this record, as well as a boost of energy on tracks like “Art Of Suppression”. While the band has been around several years, this is the first time that we’re hearing The Cut-Outs in a multiple track offering, and they’ve proved on this record that they can hold your attention past the standard three-minute single.
