Fresh off of an 88Nine Radio Milwaukee Award for Independent Release of the Year, Shle Berry is back with a new video from her “Parallels” EP. The clip, directed by Gonzales Visuals, is for EP-closer “Favorite”. Featuring an absolutely killer set of vocal samples, Shle puts in work over production from Canis Major. The Milwaukee femcee blends melody with meaning on this track, with bars about trying to improve her presence, as well as jabs at artists that try to take the short route by paying to inflate their play counts. 2018 was Shle’s biggest year by far, and we’re confident that she’ll continue taking that momentum into 2019.
