AUDIO: Heyzeus – “Young Flash”
There are nooks and crannies all over the Milwaukee music scene, and as of late, the circle involving young rappers Heyzeus, Bud HC, and collaborators has been putting out interest music to say the least. The latest from Heyzeus is a solo track, produced by Bud HC, entitled “Young Flash”. The track is alternative trap music on 10, complete with distorted screams, brash lyrics and an abrasive flow to it. That being said, it begs for repeat plays, because you have to process what exactly what is happening on the track. It has a very distinct feel to it, and in many ways could be a sign of what’s to come in the future of local hip hop. While many local artists fall into a similar sound, not many have truly embraced the sound of Soundcloud rappers with their own spin the way Heyzeus does on this track.
