AUDIO: CRLSS – “Heartstrings”
If you’ve ever browsed through new Milwaukee releases on a streaming platform of your choosing, you’ll know that there’s actually a surprising number of electronica / noise variant acts uploading content frequently to the web, many producing out of their homes. However, “Heartstrings”, the latest from CRLSS (pronounced “Careless”) is a diamond in the rough. The A-side is a 14-minute mix of five tracks, sending you on a twisting and turning path as a listener. The production throughout is as tight as can be, with heavily layered tracks like “Take Take Take” and “Ruin Me With The Filth” forming warm, electronic tones that fit together like patchwork. B-Side “Holding Hands With The Witch” is an added bonus, with softer, poignant work coming from producer/vocalist Ryan Daniel King. Check out “Heartstrings” below:
