It’s not every day that an artist puts out a short film to coincide with their work, but Renz Young is in many ways not your typical artist. On Monday, the Vogel Park artist released a near-ten minute short film called “Face Of My Father”, in advance of his new project, “Maybe We Should Figure This Out”, which drops this Friday. Directed by Immanuel Baldwin, this wonderfully shot film acts as a sampler for the project, and takes you through the different sounds and phases of the songs with the unique approach of tying them all together through a narrative. We’re looking out for “Maybe We Should Figure This Out” to hear the songs in full on Friday, but the sampler is definitely worth the view. Check out “Face Of My Father” below:
