It’s always a good day when there’s new music from Nice FM. Today we have the spontaneous drop of a lo-fi dance cut, “Ready Yet?” from label head Dashcam’s side project, Nokia Dreams. The track features a familiar voice laden within the cuts and thumping bass; vocal samples from Cat Ries of NO/NO / Pleasure Thief make an appearance throughout the track. Whereas the smoother, vaporwave-leaning tracks from Dashcam have a gloss about them, Nokia Dreams is grittier, with an emphasis on party cuts over chilled out beats.
