Sometimes you don’t always get what you want. That’s the mood conveyed in the new video from emerging Milwaukee R&B artist Symeon, for his second single, “New York”. The track and video deal with thinking you have the right person, but that person having their heart set on someone else. The video, directed by MKE Shutterz, captures that feel perfectly, in a short film setting Symeon and a girl that he is interested in juxtaposed against Mr. New York, who happens to be in town for a few days. The track also showcases Symeon’s abilities as both a singer and rapper, with a combination of a smooth hook and rapped verses when the feel is right. We’ll be looking for more from Symeon soon, but for now, check out the clip for “New York” below:
