Introspective hip hop seems to be in vogue as of late, and the latest track from Milwaukee artist Xthedolphin is in that vein. “+Self! Reflection” is X’s latest offering, and the track features a low-key beat from Zeeky, with plenty of personal lyrics over the top. The track is the first single from X’s upcoming debut project, “For Now”, which is slated to hit streaming services within the next few months. While we don’t have an exact time table, this is a solid introduction to Xthedolphin, and if you’re a fan of lyrics that might border on the more emo side of hip hop, this is for you.
