We’re a little late on this one, but Milwaukee hardcore outfit Sex Scenes returned with a new album, “h”. The release is ten tracks of in your face, crass punk that we’ve come to know from the band. All in all, the record is a little mellower than their previous releases, but that being said, it’s still not very mellow at all. With short tracks like “Blush” (clocking in under a minute), the band can make you want to destroy everything in sight, and heavy tracks like “Vespula Vulgaris”, which follows, will make you want to scream along with vocalist Rex Everything. With “h”, Sex Scenes manage to draw on the influence of classic old-school punk, but have evolved beyond short thrash tunes, as well. Check out the record below:
