AUDIO: Shaddye – “My Life In A Boombox”
Hip hop is alive and well in Milwaukee, and it has a bright future in 16-year old producer/emcee Shaddye, who today released her debut project, “My Life In A Boombox”. From the opening sample flip, you can tell that the teen femcee has what it takes to make a big impact in the local hip hop scene. While she produces her own work (and damn well), Shaddye has been working with Q The Sun as a mentor, and things are looking very, very promising for her. Her flow is incredibly natural, and it only gets better with each track. To coincide with the EP release, Shaddye will be performing today at Freespace at Jazz Gallery, along with Nile and Q The Sun.
