Shle Berry is back with her second single following her “Yellow Streak” project, and this time, “Miles Away” talks about something every Wisconsinite ponders at some point; moving the hell out of Wisconsin. Taking some jazzy production from Nayz, Shle puts her own spin on the track, with a smooth hook and her trademark flow. The interjection of voicemails from a friend make the message of the track even clearer. However, the song is really about controlling your own destiny. Rather than just moving out of your hometown, “Miles Away” is about getting the most out of life and doing whatever you can to pursue a passion.
