One thing is for certain about independent music; there’s always more great music out there that you haven’t heard, and that especially remains true in Milwaukee. The latest example for that is duo Last Rats’ new album, “Last Rats 1”, which came out at the beginning of the year. With an impressive collection of 17 tracks, the guys have been hard at work, putting together a quality down-tempo release, with only the exception of the more upbeat “Just Gonna Let It Be”. It’s a little quirky, and definitely unique, but all in all, a solid album worth spinning. We don’t know much about the group (including their identities, really), but I have a feeling that will change soon. Check out “Last Rats 1” below:
