AUDIO/VIDEO: Faux Fiction – “Dark Matter” / “Skin”
Times are exciting for Faux Fiction, who are beginning 2018 with a new EP and video to go with the release. As a hard hitting trio, the band take a step forward in their songwriting with “Dark Matter”, the band’s follow up to 2016 album “Staring At The Sun”. It feels as though there’s more comfort from the band on the material from this project than there was on the debut album, and you can hear that on elements like frontwoman Gabby Kartz’s delivery on single “Skin”. The Eric Arsnow-directed video replicates the edginess of the track, which on the EP flows well into the title track. It feels as though Faux Fiction is hitting their stride with this release, and it’s making for a promising 2018. Check out both the video for “Skin” as well as the “Dark Matter” EP below:
