As we noted when the first single from this project dropped, Hot Science had a hell of a 2017 when it comes to production. There’s no stopping that momentum as the calendar turns to 2018, though, with a new album, “Tie Dyed Grin”, out via FilthyBroke Recordings today. The instrumental project is composed of eight tracks, including the title track single. Hip hop influences from recent work with the New Wave Outlawz are definitely seeping into Hot Science’s sound, but in a way that doesn’t overpower what he’s already building sonically. In many ways, the addition of trap production is a compliment to his style, and you can hear where things are headed for the Milwaukee based producer. Check out “Tie Dyed Grin” below:
