Look, Tigernite is done with Christmas, and they want you to know that with an nontraditional carol of their own. “(Suck) My North Pole” is the band’s middle finger to Santa, for getting all the credit and only doing one night’s worth of work. It’s a compelling argument, and we can’t say we disagree. The track is a fun piece of holiday power-pop, led by the sneering emotion of frontwoman Molly Roberts. The track also means that the band have been in the studio recently, and that might also mean the groundwork is being laid for a new Tigernite release as well. In the meantime, realize you’d rather be a dentist than an elf with “(Suck) My North Pole” below:
