Milwaukee synth-pop act Rose of the West are ready for a big end to 2017, and yesterday, kicked off that push with the release of their new 7″, featuring singles “Hunter’s Will” and “Love & War”. The vinyl is out through Communicating Vessels, and if you haven’t seen the band live, is a great introduction to their brand of powerful, driven indie. The A side is more upbeat, with frontwoman Gina Barrington drawing you in via an emotional vocal performance. “Love & War” is equally as emotional, with more of a layered, retro ballad feel to it.
