VIDEO: Crying Day Care Choir – “Sad Season”

With the success of bands like Mumford and Sons and The Lumineers, it only seemed inevitable that a band would combine the indie folk qualities of both bands and blend them seamlessly. Enter Swedish trio Crying Day Care Choir, who have done just that on their new single, “Sad Season”. The band, comprised of husband and wife Jack and Sara Elz, as well as Jack’s brother Bill Nysted, take folk and give it an energy boost, and the sound catches on well. The band, now signed to Warner Music Sweden, will be putting more music out to follow “Sad Season” later this year, likely in the form of a full project.
