Complete with the snare drums that sound like somebody beating a metal trash can, Genesis Renji is back with a 90’s-style single in “Cassette Love”. The track, produced by Bizness Boi and featuring Milwaukee artist Oshi, Renji makes a retro-inspired jam without sounding dated. With just the right amount of New Jack Swing, “Cassette Love” works in concept and in practice, as it’s a track that very much reminds you of something you’d bump on a boombox back in the day.
