At last, the wait is finally over to hear the start of Gerald Walker’s “Target” era. The first single from his long-awaited album, “No Heart Feelings”, hit the internet yesterday. While the production may have improved beyond his last few mixtapes (which have also sounded stellar in their own right), the sound is still uniquely Gerald. With that combination of hip hop and R&B, the national stage is about to get an even bigger dose of Gerald Walker, and this single is just the start of it. “Target” won’t drop until September 22nd, but he’s had a history of dropping several promotional tracks before his releases, so this summer will probably have lots of new Walker in store.
