B&E Weekly Jams Presented by Bublr Bikes: 9/30 – 10/6/18

We’ve officially made it into October, and if you step outside, you’ll definitely feel it. This week, we’ve got a variety of new B&E Weekly Jams Presented by Bublr Bikes, featuring new music from Drudini, Larry Bull, Band of Dust and more. In addition to that, we also have a throwback, with a track from The Shivvers that could still play today just as well. Don’t forget to check out more playlists by following Breaking And Entering on Spotify, and check out this week’s playlist here below:

AUDIO: Larry Bull – “Free Money”

When he’s not making rappers fold under pressure as a local battle rap standout, Larry Bull is making some pretty high quality music on his own. Bull’s latest EP, “Free Money”, is a prime example of that. Battling has proven to be nothing but beneficial for Larry, as his cadence and lyrics only seem to improve on every release that we get from him. From the energy on opener “Villside Hoodlums” to the outspokenness of calling out rappers on “Switch Up”, Bull shows a hunger unmatched by any previous work on this project. Larry Bull is out to take names, and you can hear that for yourself on “Free Money” below:

AUDIO: Larry Bull – “Levels”

Just about everything that we’ve heard from Larry Bull as of late has been huge. That being said, his debut album, “Levels”, elaborates on that huge sound, given the format of an album to help build that out. With sixteen tracks, including built in skits, Larry puts his whole persona on display. There’s bar-heavy hip hop, hype-friendly club tracks, and plenty more in between. When we talk about who’s up next in Milwaukee, projects like “Levels” should put Larry Bull’s name in some serious contention. Check out the album below:

AUDIO: Larry Bull – “American Love”

Larry Bull is fearless on the microphone, and his latest single proves that. Produced by Mike-A-Knight, “American Love” flips a sample of Dr. Dre’s classic “Nuthin’ But A G Thang” into an updated beat, with lyrics that might make Lil’ Kim blush. That being said, both the sample selection and the lyrics are bold, and that should be commended. Larry’s flow is undeniable, though, and that allows him to make the verses that he’s written work well. We’re always eager to see what Larry is up to, and it’s tracks like this one that make us come back for more. If he keeps this up, Larry Bull might be poised for an (at minimum) underground scene breakout. Check out “American Love” below:

AUDIO: Larry Bull – “I Told Ya”

Larry Bull is rapping his ass off. Plain and simple. On his latest, “I Told Ya”, Larry mixes his unique delivery with an arsenal of bars, and he’s very adamant that he has, at least once before, told you about his abilities. While you definitely won’t forget the name of the song anytime soon, you won’t be passing up what Larry Bull is doing on his verses, either. Mike-a-Night brings the bounce to the instrumental, and this is another reason that Larry should be on your radar as far as hip hop in Milwaukee is considered. Check out “I Told Ya” below:

AUDIO: Larry Bull – “Switch Up”

Sheesh. Larry Bull just made it known today that he’s a force to be reckoned within the Milwaukee music scene this year, with the extra tough new track, “Switch Up”. Backed by some heavy DMND production, Larry unleashes hell on anything in his way, with an impressive flow. Within the first minute, you’ll be taken back by what you’re hearing. Larry Bull is here, 2017. It’s about to get interesting. Get your flame emojis ready, and check out “Switch Up” below:
