Dylan Shanahan, previously of The Bbys amongst other endeavors, has a new solo record out. “Mystery Of Evil” is a 14-track release that finds Shanahan delving into a variety of sonic territories. The album showcases Shanahan’s evolution as a songwriter, at times keeping things tight to under-two-minute bops, but also finding a way to make that flow with experiments with funkier sounding material. “Mystery of Evil” marks another compelling chapter for Shanahan, who continues to carve out a unique space for himself with every twist and turn.
