Earlier this month, hard rockers Magnetic Minds unleashed their latest album, “Hatred Within.” The record is full of take-no-prisoners cuts that just feel inherently heavy from the moment you press play, and that’s just how they like it. The band can speed things up on songs like “Back Against The Wall,” or bring the power on songs like “Never Cared” and the title track. There are certainly metal and hardcore influences at play here, but regardless of which side the band leads towards on any given song, they’re ready to bring the punishment along the way.
