What a path JC Stewart has been on.

Our first Mahogany Session with JC Stewart was all the way back in 2018, when his song “Medicine” was new and he had no idea of the journey he was about to experience. A lot has changed since then.

He’s toured the world, co-written with Lewis Capaldi, released viral tracks, signed a record deal, lost himself in it a bit… and then quietly started again. He went back home to Northern Ireland. Took time out. Wrote a record he wanted to write.

This live session was filmed in our London space – just JC at the guitar and piano songs both brand new and from his catalogue. It’s stripped-back, emotional, and it holds the weight of an artist who has discovered, honed, and polished his sound.

Filmed in one take, these three songs find JC at his most open, just a good voice and something real to say.
