VIDEO: Arny Margret | Live At Mahogany
We filmed this session with Arny Margret just before the release of ‘I Miss You, I Do’, her stunning second album. The light was soft, the room was quiet, and Arny, as always, said so much with so little.
She’s a special writer – tender, unhurried, and full of detail. If you’ve ever fallen for Julie Byrne, Anaïs Mitchell, Alice Phoebe Lou, or Martha Gunn — this will land gently in the same place.
Born and raised in the Westfjords of Iceland, Arny’s music sounds exactly like image; clear, still, and breathtaking. Over the past few years, she’s grown from working in her family bakery to recording with producers like Brad Cook and Josh Kaufman, touring the world, and releasing one of the most quietly impactful records of late.
We’re really proud to share this one. An artist completely in her own lane, and a session that feels as close as a whisper.
