The worlds of metal and video games just feel right together, and Gunderslam is that intersection. Today, that comes in the form of “Wrath Beyond Creation” a metal reinterpretation of the video game Hades. The soundtrack has never sounded so punishing, with layers of sequenced guitars that feel dark and brooding when they need to. The band manage to make the soundtrack come to life in an even bigger way than what’s presented in the game, which is ultimately the goal of any tribute concept project.
