Abby Jeanne is back with more retro-dipped country flavor on her latest single, “Runnin From You!” which dropped this past Thursday. The energy is up on this one, with Abby accented by vocal harmonies and claps to keep the pace up. She sings of a love that is not for her, and now she needs to get out. The spirit of girl groups of the 60s and 70s is also present here, which is Abby Jeanne’s sweet spot as a writer and performer. On Instagram, Abby shared that she wasn’t going to put this record out, but ultimately wanted to give it a chance to see the light of day. Oh, and to wear her red cowboy hat, too.
