On Friday, producer and artist Gucco dropped three new songs, “Drunk Texts & Writer’s Block.” Two of the songs are originals, with hyperpop banger “Drunk Texts” leading the way. The song starts innocently enoughly enough with an acoustic guitar before the beat drops hard over the chorus. “Writer’s Block” also starts in a similar fashion, while Gucco sings of heartbreak and using that to push him forward. Creatively, it feels like the limits are off for Gucco, who can dabble with different genres and bring it back to his core sound with ease.
