One of Spaidez’ most underrated qualities is his ability to be a chameleon when it comes to his raps. When he wants to spit, he absolutely can, and when he wants to lean into the Lowend side of things, we get releases like “More Drugs, And Less Friends…” which dropped this week. He links up with Maz G for a pair of new tracks, and both lean into the sound of a drugged-out haze, layering vocals and rapping about serving fiends all over Milwaukee. It’s just one of the styles that Spaidez can bring out of his arsenal, but the two sound especially contagious over rachet beats with little regard for anything in the world.
