Producer Steve Hybicki and Dres have a new single that dropped this week, flipping Tool’s “Schism” into the most unlikely of club beats. Hybicki and Dres add melodic layers to the song, with lyrics about trying to avoid conflict. Given the very present sample, it makes for a bit of a trip when you hear both artists approach the track this way, but over time, it feels like it starts to meld together well.
