On Black Friday, producer and former Big Beat MKE champion Spacecrime released a new compilation via Triple Eye Industries, “Sounds from the Milky Way.” The 10-track project features 11 Milwaukee acts, each of which put their own unique spin on spacey (pun intended) beats that pack a punch. There’s no shortage of lyricism here, with verses from Taiyamo Denku, Mo’City, Bad Graphics Ghost, and many more. There’s also a verse from the late Twan Mack, which has certainly gained a level of heaviness since his passing. The vinyl from Triple Eye Industries is largely sold out, but you can stream the album here below:
