Allison Mahal has new music today, and she’s moving forward on “Tourist Town.” The song is about getting over a turbulent time, making changes, and pushing yourself into the next phase of life. For Mahal, that included getting a haircut, a dog, and making plans to relocate, which is where we find her at the beginning of the song. You can hear just a bit of that vulnerability in her vocal performance on the song, with a bit of apprehension in her voice before a resounding chorus.
