PaperStacks dropped a new project recently, and there’s no stopping his shine on “Keep Winnin.” The 14-track release opens on nodes of vulnerability, though, as he admits that he wasn’t sure if he’d ever drop music again. That being said, he finds a way to quickly shake that off as the record plays out, eventually building up a confidence that comes off as showmanship and bravado without being over-the-top. Appearances from several members of the Camp Shuttlesworth team, as well as Troy Tyler, Grey Genius and more pepper the project with additional voices and similar notions to Stacks, who doesn’t lose his edge when getting the assist from a feature. “Keep Winnin” is part motivation and part grandstanding, all in a way that only PaperStacks can pull off.
