Dance pop act Lauryl Sulfate + Her Ladies of Leisure dropped a new EP recently! It’s a mix of familiar material from the band in addition to some new cuts. There’s a radio edit of “Girls Cry All The Time” and Easy Bake remix of “Freefall” (both from The LOL’s stunning 2023 album “The Afterparty”), plus three fresh hits and a remix of one such hit. “I’m Your Man” swells with asserting dominance, “Patron Saint of Realness” is a piano-laden house stomper that contemplates the constant struggle for authenticity, and “I’m Not the Type” builds an emotional atmosphere by way of layered synths and Sulfate’s hauntingly beautiful vocal performance.
