Experimental-electronic composer Wavefiler has a new album out. The artist describes these pieces as meditations on energy being stored and released by way of modular synth soundscapes. As such, the nine tracks here gently pulse like deep breaths and wander like critters exploring vast flora. It could very well be the soundtrack to a nature documentary series featuring time lapses of plants and animals alike awakening from their winter slumber. Wavefiler delivers ambient bliss with “Farads.”
