Sure Thing are a new Milwaukee indie pop act comprising Casey O’Brien and Stephen Strupp. Their debut self-titled album is out now, defining themselves with a playfully quaint pop sound over 12 songs. O’Brien’s idiosyncratic lyrics are rife with poetic humor while Strupp’s synth-heavy instrumentation is full of color and whimsy, organically meshing with one another like a bag of sonic candy.
