DC The Don is back today, and he gives us a 23-track epic of a tape with “Sacred Heart (2+).” From opener “The Fall Off,” DC explains that he’s got a lot of pressure on him, but he’s ready to rise up to the challenge. He then proceeds to drop a barrage of energetic, distorted beats with tons of swagger, pushing aside that opening moment of vulnerability. While 23 tracks could present a monotonous release, the vast amount of music lets DC play with different sounds, as he leans on a more alternative sound for tracks like “Screaming Thru The Walls” and a more pop-tinged sound for “Angel Dust.” DC The Don certainly lives up to the hype on “Sacred Heart (2+)” and you can check it out here:
