R.A.P Ferreira moves to the beat of his own drum pads, and that continues on his latest, “The First Fist To Make Contact When We Dap.” The globe-trotter from Milwaukee recorded the project after a trip to Japan, alongside Daddy Kev, that resulted in shows, record crate-digging, and discussions with Tamura. Ultimately, the project lives on Tamura’s beats, while Ferreira delivers his own avant-garde flows to the tracks.
