Welcome to February, and welcome to a month full of love (or lack thereof) from Shonn Hinton. He’s a couple weeks ahead of time, but he dropped a new EP on February 1st, titled “Happy Valentine’s Day.” This feels like the anti-love EP, with Hinton having the blues from a relationship that soured. Opener “Wild Irrational Thoughts” sets the tone, with Hinton getting in his feelings. “Blame Me” lives in a world of heartbreak as well, and closer “Crying” is reflecting on the end of the relationship as well.
