Chicago/Milwaukee hybrid Motel Breakfast have a new single out today, and folk meets funk on “Fairview Ave.” With airy keys that seem to float along the background of the track, and technical bass parts that establish a solid groove, the composition feels natural on this one, augmented by empassioned vocals from Jimmy Drenovsky. The release also features previous single “MB” on the back end, with both songs working well together.
