Pop punks Mulva released a two-song EP recently, featuring a new one as well as the faster version of an old one. “Stay With Me (Forever)” tackles fear of abandonment and the frantic efforts to not be discarded. “I Keep Fucking Up” is about repeatedly making mistakes but never learning from them, keeping the vicious cycle alive. With anxiously potent vocal delivery and keen, polished riffage, Mulva cite “The Anaconda Sessions” as the first two full songs they wrote as a band. They’ll be at Cactus Club on January 14th!
