R&B songstress Tai Mistyque dropped a new EP at the end of October. With six tracks that take us from tragedy to triumph, Mistyque kicks things off with “Get Through This” where she struggles to fathom the actions of a former lover, leading into “3rd Time” which channels the resulting grief. The next song “Reminder”, however, finds Mistyque owning her worth and carrying it into the next few songs. The final song “Go Crazy” concludes things with a feature from fellow R&B crooner Troy Tyler, who plays the role of a guy who’s ready to treat Mistyque like a queen. “Head Over Heart” cohesively follows an arc of getting heartbroken and being played before ultimately gets back on your feet and owning what you deserve.
