Singer-songwriter Jorge Vallentine has been charming Milwaukee venues over the last few years through his intensely convicted songwriting and emotive performances. He released a new single this week for his birthday, recorded live at Grace Lutheran Church this past February. The song is about finding the strength to leave toxic relationships and deprogramming the internal hardware convincing you to be hard on yourself. Vallentine’s ardently raw vocals mirror his potent guitar strumming as he sings to himself as much as he’s singing to someone who’s gone through something similar. “Stockholm Syndrome” will be on Jorge Vallentine’s upcoming debut EP “Grace, For Those Who Need It.”
