Experimental artist and composer Efrat released their debut single a few weeks back. Collaborating with producer Charlie Koz, Efrat paints an opulent picture of sensory harmony here. Lush art pop sensibilities weave between layers of structural and textural palettes, spanning nearly seven minutes and consisting of hauntingly beautiful vocal chants that feel like peeks of light peppering darkness, intimately conveyed lyrics that feel like feathers touching your soul, electronically manipulated rhythms mercurial yet tranquil, and piano that gracefully flutters through the song’s coda.
