R&B artist Charmonty released a new EP earlier this month. There’s five tracks here each with a different feature, which certainly shows off Charmonty’s versatility with different artists’ energies; Kid Foreal, Scarce Diamonds, Lex Delani, J. Von and Erilei are all part of the picture – in that order. As romance is in the air and she makes no compromises with getting across how she feels on this EP, Charmonty lets her divine voice put her feelings on full display whether it regards the highs or the lows of a relationship, embellished by the different perspectives channeled via the features. “Something to Hold You Over” finds Charmonty leaning into her collaborative side, and we look forward to how she’ll keep it moving from here.
