Alternative world supergroup Strangelander have a new composition out. This song tells the story of the titular mystical tome and its acquisition by an adventurer named Aarubus Solat, guided by the goddess Aevea. Steve Peplin and Amanda Huff lyrically assume the roles of Aarubus Solat and Aevea respectively, traversing across great night skies and oceans in order to complete their quest. Huff’s transcendental voice conjures a vivid portal into this fantastical realm, accompanied by valorous instrumental storytelling in the form flutes, cello and guitar that each take turns in heroic frenzy. “Atlas Obscura” will be on Strangelander’s upcoming 2024 album “The Star and the Lanthorn.”
