Hip hop artist OTR Melly’s latest single tackles loneliness and escapism. He alludes to drugs as a means of coping, cleverly using a girl calling his name as a metaphor for what distracts him from his demons. It’s a dark one for sure, but the raw, candid approach to Melly’s songwriting as well as his full-hearted vocal performance are enough to grip any crowd he’s in front of.
