The Not Just A Phase podcast released their second compilation recently via Zegema Beach Records, and Milwaukee’s resident screamers Snag contributed a new track to the release. “Tunnels” is a blistering song that starts off with a bang, before eventually mellowing out (to an extent.) Things only pick back up, though, and it makes for a wild ride of two and a half minutes. It’s the second track released from Snag since 2021’s “Death Doula,” so it’s easy to assume that the band have been working on a follow-up record in the interim, and this may be a glimpse of it.
