C.M.P., formerly known as CMPerceptions, is back with a new EP. The Christian rapper returns with “The Ascent II,” a project that mixes trap beats with spiritual lyrics. The flow, however, is always strong, as C.M.P. could rap with the best of them no matter what the subject matter is. While he chooses to profess his faith through hip hop, C.M.P. thrives on being able to rap with a style that doesn’t feel like he is pushing religion excessively. No matter your outlook on religion, “The Ascent II” is a project that you can appreciate. Check it out below:
